2012... Year Of Yoku

Man, it's been awhile back on my blog hasn't it?

Well Time to get you followers up to speed.

As you may know or not, I am no longer going by the name of "R.H.The Nightmare"

it seems many people know me more for my other alias than that one, so from now on, i am just, "YOKU MASAKI"

also I am at work on a few new projects for this year, but will not be maxing out on releases due to school and money complications.

1.) WTF? Why's That fresh? - A Beattape that was made last year that will be my last for 2011 and for awhile til i get the necessary inspiration. will be out later January.

2.) Ghost Within The Machine - A original Project for me and complexx, but he decided to drop out of it for necessary reasons, now it will be my first compilation album, with songs sampling the "Ghost in The Shell" movies and shows. coming later this year hopefully spring.

3.) #VampireLife - A concept 6 Track EP telling the story of a insomniac vampire Musician who falls in love with a schizophrenic poetry writing Gothic Lolita princess who then get married in a graveyard during the day of the rising dead. will featuring appearances from my lady and Shyce Mayne. hopefully will be released Valentine's Day.

4.) Masterball Jukebox 3 - the third of a Pokemon sampled project, except this will be a compilation EP. the first two were beattapes. coming soon this spring. (shouts to the League)

5.) and finally I will start working on the Sequel for "The World According to Yoku Masaki" it will be called,

"Yoku Masaki Vs. The World."

it will deal with me recording over other artists Records, like a concept remix album

other than that, i have to figure out my money situations, also "The R.A.V.E." and "Kindred Spiritz" are still going to be developed, just on the back burner now.

INFATUATION...

Well, it looks like i finally Have a Legit single.
"Infatuation" was written for my first girlfriend, but the first verse was changed after i met my new love (who for the moment will be anonymous, but know she's real, and loves me so) she is going thru things and her artistic abilities made me even a better man, hopefully we will go thru a situation where we will finally see each other.

this originally was not to be the single, but showing her how much i love her, i had to release it. shouts to thelonious and the tastemakers.

On July 30th
A Big thing occurred to me on the Facebook.
i saw a note on the formally abandoned Facebook account of "Myu Zik"

a note was posted Titled "One Statement"

Here it is:

"If there's any statement I would like to make, I want to grossly apologize to my mother for my treatment of her for the last 7-9 years. And if we rewind a bit, I owe her about 12 years worth of apologies. I'm not worthy of the acclaim, so I'm not going for it anymore. If there's another song from me, it's not coming from the place it was once being projected from.

Maybe jail did teach me a lesson.

But I still have no right to treat my mother like she's a stranger. I kinda don't want to be on Facebook anymore after typing such, so if I'm slow to reply, you know why.

I also would like to apologize to my father for causing such a ruckus while visiting him, as well as a few other personal goings ons. I let smoke get the best of me. A rarity in my world (looks over shoulder), but indeed, I overdid it.

So here's the low down on the new music. Written is 2 albums, and the final L Word. "My Heart" is out of my hands (get it now?), and one of the albums has a really deep title...

...from The L Word Four, it's the contemplation of marriage and a regular life. I can still make music, and there's enough "smoke and mirrors" music out there (eg "Substance Abuse", "My Heart" etc) to keep you guys high and unhungry.

I am currently in my NEW wonderful pink polo, and I'm so fly I'm predicting weather (spur of the moment punchline). My fro is kinda here, kinda not, but my curls are in full force right now. I'm not willing to talk about my love life at all. J. Cole is not my son (inside joke), but I said he was on a song I wrote. Jab? Who knows.

I will not comment on any artist(s), because I'm not in a space to say anything about them. Therefore, wait until you hear the new music to hear what I really have to say.
